Arupa Vision
was established on the 15th of January 2005 with the objective
of bringing about mass awareness regarding critical issues
relating to society and environment through a varied audio
visual and live medium such as documentary films, campaigns,
docu-dramas and folk dances and serials. Since its inception
the following activities have been taken up by Arupa Vision:
Documentary film on Bio-conservation through Polyethylene
Biogas Units: Simlipal Biosphere Reserve- for Arupa Mission
Research Foundation and Orissa Renewable Energy Development
Agency and show casing in Mayurbhanj District of Odisa.
Focus Group Outcomes on Disaster Preparedness and Disabled
People of Jagatsinghpur District for Arupa Mission Research
Foundation and Shanta Memorial Rehabilitation Center Sponsored
by DANIDA . This documentation was shown in Jagatsinghpur
district of Odisa and Red Cross Bhubaneshwar.
Show Casing of Videos on Livestock Health, Production and
Management of Livestock Development Group University of
Reading UK- Arupa Mission Research Foundation and Livestock
Development Group University of Reading UK. This picture
is of Farmers from Ostapur Village of Khurda district watching
Animal Health, Production and Management Videos Along with
LDG UK , AMRF and Arupa Vision staff representatives. These
video were also shown in Mayurbhanj district.
A documentary film for Action AID which was about generating
awareness among the people of Bolangir district on how to
eradicate the problems related to drought and to make them
aware of their rights; to live a life of dignity by forming
self help groups, food banks and other awareness campaigns.
It was also about generating resources within their circles
and generating their inner confidence to protest the migration.
